Daniel Tellez has been a licensed mental health counselor for the state of Florida for 3 years. His biggest strengths include his ability to listen and empathize with situations that come up with children. He is also very solution-focused and keys in on behaviors. Daniel takes the time to listen to clients, find out what problems or issues they are having, and empower them to find better ways to cope.

His background includes school based counseling with children and tweens. He is passionate about working with phobias and completed an anxiety/phobia specific program. He specializes in cognitive and behavioral methods to help kiddos recognize unhelpful behaviors and ways of thinking and teaches them better and fun ways to cope. He also uses behavior management methods to help parents learn and be successful in difficult situations. His age group is 5-16 and he helps with Anxiety, Anger, ADHD/ADD

After their first session, clients can expect a team approach to treatment plans designed to meet their specific needs and direct their growth and healing process. As such, clients will be challenged to improve the behaviors, negative thinking patterns, and other problems impacting their lives in a safe space.

Beliza is a young but experienced therapist with a blended therapy style that can help your child. She lost her father in adolescence and knows the difference that therapy could have made for her at that difficult time. This desire to make a difference in a child’s life has driven her to be a therapist and helps her to connect to her clients. She has followed her calling with excitement and joy.

She was noted as one of the top school counselors in 2012 for going above and beyond her job at Killarney Elementary school. She has also been an active member of MHCCF and presented in 2017 on Clinician self care. Beliza has also presented passionately on the topic of parenting at 2 other organizations in 2017. She has 10 years of experience with a focus on anger, anxiety, and giftedness.  She loves working with ages 6-10 and can match their energy and enthusiasm.

She has worked in an agency office setting serving children and as an on site school counselor for elementary schools. She is a qualified supervisor for the state of Florida and has been invigorated by helping young therapists gain valuable experience. Her most exciting work has been in her practice in Oviedo with children, siblings, and parents.
